New Commemorative Note of Rs. 75 has been unveiled by SBP.

Finally, the State Bank of Pakistan SBP has unveiled the design of new commemoratito currency notes of the denomination of Rs. 75/- on the event of the 75th Independence day, August 14, 2022, to honour the country's diamond jubilee. The said note will be issued on September 30, 2022.

The news was issued SBP through their official tweeter account on August 14, 2022. The Federal Government approved the new currency note under the provisions of SBP Act 1956. 

The Pakistanis will observe ton the right emerald colour new currency note having the picture of great leaders of Pakistan, leading Quaid-e-Azam-Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Shair-e-Mashrik-Allama Muhammad Iqbal on right, Madar-e-Millat-Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah on the left and Sir Syed Ahmad Khan in the left end.

On the reverse sidethe , Markhor, the national aimal of Pakistan, is showing its beauty in front of the Deodar trees, also known as Pakistan's national tree. 

The vignett on the reverse side of bank note is submitted by young and upcoming designer of Pakistan which protray national animal and tree, Markhor and Deodar, respectively, which highlights the importance of saving our environment and Pakistan's unique Fauna and Flora. The SBP designed the commemorative note out of inspiration of the design submitted by Ms Sara Khan. The internal committee of SBP finalized the design with the designer De La Rue, United Kingdom.

Further, the SBP has issued the security feature instruction for users to differentiate the fake and real currency notes of Rs. 75.
